• Ohm's law -

It state that the product of current and resistance is equals to the voltage.
                     V=IR

• Resistance Temperature Coefficient (RTC)-

It is the ratio of change in resistance value per unit resistance at t°c is called as RTC.

- Effect of temperature in RTC :

1. Whenever the temperature value increasing so the RTC value decreasing.
2. Impurely metallic and alloy circuit the resistance is increasing so the temperature is decreasing at the condition RTC gives positive value.
3. Whenever the resistance value is decreasing, temperature can be increasing so the RTC gives negative temperature coefficient value.

• Insulation of resistance -

Matterial which can be used to reduce the conductivity and the resistance value of the matterial is very high is called as insulation.
Insulation does not transfer heat further and cannot melt easily. Insulation is used to cover the electrical instument wire and other appliances.

- Effect of temperature and moisture of insulation of resistance :

 1. Insulation change in temperature value cannot be affected and highly amount of moisture present in atmosphere so it cannot be affected in insulating material.
2. Whenever the temperature be highly increasing so the insulation can be breakdown.

• Joule's law -

The law state that the electrical energy us equal to the amount of heat produce due to current flowing through the matterial.

• Heat Capacitor -

The amount of heat required to produce the temperature is depend on mass of matterial.
It is the ratio of heat supply to the rise in temperature is called as heat capacity

• Heat -

There are three types of heat:

: Specific heat -

Heat capacity of body per unit mass is called as specific heat.

: Sensible heat -
Heat loss due to change in temperature is called Sensible heat.

: Latent heat -

In this heat the temperature of the body remains constant only change the strength is called as Latent heat.

• Electric work -

The amount of work to move the electrons is called as electric work.

• Efficiency -

It is the ratio of energy output to energy input.

• Conservation of energy -

Energy neither be created nor be destroyed, it only converted from one form to another form.
