Single Phase Induction Motor (squirrel cage mottor) :
~ Principal -
It works on a principal of fradays law of current carrying conductor place on magnetic field. The current can passing through conductor, these conductor cuts the flux lines rotated in high speed.~ Construction -
Stator, Rotor, Winding, Electric Supply, Fluxlines etc.~ Working -
In this motor the rotor is placed in the the center of the stator. The Windings are wounded in the Rotor, this Windings is called as rotor winding.Endrings and copper bars are used to creating the stator. The current is passing through stator and rotor, so it can be creating the flux lines. This flux lines can be rotate the rotor in high speed.
- Torque speed characteristics of single phase induction motor :
In single phase induction motor the torque and speed is dependent on current passing through stator and rotor. In stator and rotor the flux lines can be produces, these flux lines rotate the rotor in high speed.
- Types of single phase induction motor:
1. Speed phase induction motor2. Capacitor start/run induction motor
3. Shaded core induction motor
In single phase induction motor , motor requires high starting torque to rotate the rotor. These high starting torque creating the auxiliary winding because it's need phase ship in between. Meanwhile auxiliary Windings rotates in high speed. In low torque rotor cannot be rotate.
